The Tragic Tale of Margaret and her James was inspired in mid-2012 in the middle of the night after I woke up by chance, my TV was on a documentary about the Tulsa Race Riot. It told the riot was started after an incident between a young black male and a young white female. I took this inspiration and infused it with my Haitian heritage and creativity, to tell a story of tragedy. My chapters are structured in first person prospective, and alternates between characters with each new chapter much like Game of Thrones chapters are structured.
